I come from a multicultural family, with roots in German, Poland, Lebanon, and Brazil. My mother was born and raised in Brazil, and my father in Lebanon. Although I was born in Brazil, life took us on an unexpected journey to Spain when I was just four years old. I grew up on the beautiful island of Mallorca, surrounded by my family’s rich mix of cultures and cuisines.

At 19, I moved to the UK to pursue my undergraduate degree. As part of my studies, I completed a placement year back in Brazil, seeking new experiences. It was there that I met my partner, and in 2019 we got married.

What began as a small hobby in our Moseley home kitchen in 2022—sharing our food online—soon grew into something much bigger. In July 2023, we took a leap and started trading at Moseley Farmers Market, turning our passion into a thriving venture.

Since moving to the UK, Moseley has always been home. It’s a place full of character—vibrant, welcoming, and filled with wonderful people. I used to visit the farmers market regularly, drawn to the sense of community and nostalgia it brought me. Markets have always held a special place in my heart. Growing up in Mallorca, my family ran a stall during a challenging time in Spain’s economic crisis. We sold Lebanese and Brazilian food, and while it helped support us financially, it also brought us closer together as a family.

Those memories are at the heart of what we do today. Being a trader is more than just a business—it’s a way of reconnecting with those moments of togetherness and sharing that same joy with others. Through Taste Escape, we aim to bring a variety of global flavours into one place, creating an experience that feels both exciting and comforting.
