The next Market is Saturday April 24th, 2021 9am to 2pm.
What to expect
Moseley Farmers’ Market WILL LOOK DIFFERENT DUE TO COVID REGULATIONS. IT WILL STRETCH UP TO SAINSBURY’S AND WILL HAVE TWO ENTRANCES AND ONE EXIT IN THE MAIN MARKET AREA. ENTER BY THE CUBAN EMBASSY END OR OPPOSITE BOOTS AND EXIT BY THE FIGHTING COCKS. Stalls will not be in their usual place so look out for them. If you can’t find the one you’re looking for, just ask at the community stall in the centre. SOME STALLS WILL BE ACROSS THE ROAD BY BOOTS.
It takes place at the crossroads in the centre of Moseley – on the Village Green and along the Alcester Road & St Marys Row. Pre-Covid-19 we used to have on average over 60 stalls, and this varies from month to month: because of restrictions, it’ll be between 40 and 50 You will be able to purchase all sorts of produce; fruit, vegetables, meat, breads and cakes, eggs, pottery and more.
There is also a wide variety of street food available – including vegetarian options. We hope to bring back enjoyable live performances from saxaphone players to choirs once Covid restrictions are lifted. Also once lockdown is over, across the street you will also have the Moseley Arts Market should you wish to buy locally made craft.
In terms of how we’re set up please see the map on the left roughly outlining how will be set up this month.
