Sarah Edwards Cakes is a small company focused on producing high quality cakes using the best local ingredients available. Sarah started the company in April 2005, baking in her home kitchen.

The company specialises in making beautiful, individual celebration cakes for weddings, birthdays… well any milestone really. These cakes are completely bespoke and each is designed and made to the customers’ specific requirements.

In addition to the celebration cakes Sarah Edwards Cakes also makes very high quality ‘everyday’ cakes which are sold at Farmer’s Markets and local specialist food shops, cafes and restaurants.

The concept of selling cakes at Farmer’s Markets is particularly appealing as one of the requirements for accreditation is that products must be largely made from local ingredients – which fits well with our own ideology. The Farmer’s Markets also provide pretty immediate feedback from customers – and we really love all the positive comments

All aspects of the business have grown organically, driven by customer demand over the last few years. As a result the company has now relocated to our new ‘Cakery’, a converted dairy barn on the outskirts of Leamington Spa.

With over 25 years experience in making and decorating cakes, Sarah and her team concentrate on producing high quality, bespoke creations for clients looking for something special.

akiki organics is a small holding of 12 acres in Worcestershire, farming to biodynamic standards.

Our aim is to be self sufficient producing a range of products that meets the needs of our large family. When we took over the farm five years ago it was very neglected with only a few trees remaining in the orchard. It is taking a lot of hard work to achieve our aim of producing foods as close as possible to nature but we’re getting there slowly.

Scotch eggs from the Hand-made Scotch Eggs Co. are not simply Scotch eggs: these are lovingly prepared meals in their own right – made with eggs from free to roam happy chickens & pigs – each one put together by hand and presented in perfect condition for you to enjoy.
The Handmade Scotch Egg Co. is a truly family affair devised & run by creative couple: Penny & Neil Chambers. All products are made by hand from the freshest ingredients and are cooked with care in a purpose-designed kitchen.
Since launching at the Teme Valley Farmers’ Market in June 2003, with just half a dozen varieties, there are now over 30 unique imaginative recipes for your indulgence, winning in 2005 the ‘Best New Producer’ category in the Flavours of Herefordshire Awards. The range of speciality eggs is being continually extended, so look out for limited edition seasonal treats.

The Hand-made Scotch Eggs Co. is, through choice, a small company affording us close control of the quality of our products. Using time-honoured cooking practices:

Working by hand to produce quality food – in an environmentally & socially responsible manner – returning food production to its inspirational roots
To keep welfare our priority, sourcing local free-range products direct from the farmers & producers
To produce top quality food in tune with the seasons with full traceability and provenance
To build an ethically sound sustainable business
To reinstate the humble Scotch egg as Britain’s favorite snack food
